Dr. Ty Vardanian is practicing all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in Advanced Restorative and Implant Dentistry. He has been in practice for over 20 years both in the United States and Europe. Before moving to California in 1998, Dr. Vardanian was working at The Institute for Advanced Studies in Dental Esthetics in New York, where he worked in association with world renown dentists such as Dr. Ross Nash and Dr. Larry Rosenthal. In 1991, Dr. Vardanian completed an Internship Program in Fixed Prosthodontics at Columbia University in New York.
In 1987, Dr. Vardanian graduated from a three-year Post Graduate Prosthodontic Residency Program at The Institute for Advanced Medical and Dental Studies in Moscow. During the same period, he wrote and publicly defended a thesis named "Special Design of Porcelain Fused to Metal Bridgework for Patients with Periodontal Disease". After completion of his training, Dr. Vardanian was awarded MSD and PhD degrees.
Dr. Vardanian graduated from the Dental School of State Medical Institute in Yerevan in 1980. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the same institute.
Recently, Dr. Vardanian completed the Dental Implant Surgical Training program at UCLA. He also is an alumnus of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where he had training in Advanced Functional Restorative Dentistry, Advanced Posterior Aesthetics, The Art of Direct Resin, and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation of the Edentulous Patients. Dr. Vardanian also has published six professional articles internationally.
